Toucans Love Pancakes

So this is a view into my recent book project. Its about a toucan that loves to cook but is made fun of for his larger then normal nose. Anyways, my issue is deciding what medium to use. This is painting/collage but im uncertain if I should remake it into a watercolor painting. Opinions are appreciated :]

    Love the Tucan and that is the ultimate sly wolf you have captured the mischief in those eyes. Do I know Him? Karleen

    I really enjoy the hat. Perhaps paint the majority of it, and then add a few collage elements. Maybe just pick one thing, for example the hat. The wolf has a nice quality of layering and finding a happy medium between both painting and collage.
