Swamp (Date Night)

I know I already posted Tuesday but I couldn't help but show this piece. It fit too well with Illustration Fridays word of the week. Basically it's two red eared sliders having a date. With a turtle being my favorite animal I have no idea why it took this long to finally paint one...

    Amazing, vibrant colors and what a great idea! I really like the way the white paint gives everything a sparkly night glow. So cute!

    Your integration of collage is really seamless here, very nice. I didn't even notice a lot of it at first but I like that - makes you look longer at it. Also now I really want a cupcake. :(
