I know this post is so late! I really thought this project would be easy and take a day or so and turns out it's the complete opposite. I'm using a new technique to help make my collages more clear and less distracting in my watercolors. So far it's looking good but will see....I'll post the finished piece as soon as I can. For now enjoy my work in progress post.
For those of you who don't know, this is a project I'm entering into TheyDrawAndCook. It's for a Kraft competition. I thought it was important for me to say that any competitions I recommend are trustworthy as far as copyright goes. Even though the competition is for Kraft, Nate and Sally from TheyDrawAndCook are the ones handling your artwork and what happens to it. Even if you don't win art directors skim their site frequently and they try to publish a yearly cook book and calender. Anyone's work is qualified and if someone buys your piece or uses it in an advertisement they will contact you and let you know. For more information look through their site or better yet contact them.
These are my bunnies. They will be collaged and added separately to the bigger painting.
Really bad photo of part of the main project. I still have lots to add to it.
Here's a look at my sketch and thumbnail process. Really messy but helpful. I'm trying to force myself to sketch my illustrations separately instead of going right into the painting.
It's a nice work, I wanna try the recipe, maybe you would use the typographic of your sketch, it was nice.
