Fishy Heaven

So this little illustration is for my friend Cindy who had her fishy die. We all knew Abraham well and we will all miss him. This is were I think he's at. He loved to eat and I'm sure fish love carnivals since they always hand them out in those bags for winning games. I can only put the sketch up for now because it's one of my larger collages. Its hard to see since it's done in a 4h on cold press paper but I'm sure you'll get the idea.

April

This month has been very busy and short but in my free time I tried my best to bring out some Easter in my art! I wanted to try some of my new cake skills so I made mini cake's and box's to go with them. I tried so hard being in a Eastery mood with my box's that the design didn't end up going well with the cakes so I guess I can use them as candy box's.

Illustrator Attempt

I dislike adobe illustrator to a large extent but I do believe it is helpful to know. My favorite illustrator Brittney Lee, does a lot of digital illustrations. Anyways, I got really bored and opened the program for the first time in three years. It's a portrait of my bird and not very good ;D

Cake decorating

So I finally got to taking lessons in cake decoration! My grandmother is teaching me some pretty neat things. With this cake I of coarse made it for my mothers birthday which is today but I wont be celebrating with her until tomorrow and I couldn't wait to post this up. My grama did all the baking for now but I'm pretty proud of the flowers and decorations I made. :)

Bottle

So I know it's been a while since I have participated in illustration Friday. It is an incredibly helpful website and I do plan to at least attempt the word every week. This week the word was bottle and yes I thought of a ferret in a soda bottle. Does this really happen? Well way back when, when I had a ferret she did and yes she loved soda. Even though I work with a lot of collage I absolutely hate it so this week I tried doing more painting just for a break. I'll let you figure out what is painted and whats not.
